Distinguished Architect, CenturyLink

Jack Pugaczewski is currently a Distinguished Architect working at CenturyLink Lab. Leadership roles within CenturyLink and at MEF He is currently leading design and development of architecture/frameworks and APIs in support of management of L0/L1, L2 and L3, SDN/NFV networks for integration with Cloud applications. He is the Editor of MEF Service Configuration and Activation API.

He currently holds nine (9) patents and five (5) patents pending in area of networking and network management software.  He has experience in network architecture, design and lab testing of IPTV, VoIP, IP, VPLS, MPLS and mobile backhaul networks. He has worked in applied mathematics to QoS designs in IP, MPLS and VPLS networks.  Jack received his Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and M.S. in Software Engineering from University of St. Thomas.
