Research Director, TeleGeography

Robert Schult is a Research Director at TeleGeography. He manages the company’s wholesale and enterprise pricing research groups, focusing primarily on pricing and service benchmarks for international private line, IP transit, IP VPN and Ethernet services.

Over the past 12 years Rob has led global research and consulting efforts, establishing relationships with 100+ international service providers. He has spoken and moderated panels at a wide range of conferences, including PTC, ITW, Carriers World, Capacity China, and the Metro Ethernet Forum.

Prior to joining TeleGeography, Robert served as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the U.S. Navy, learning firsthand the limitations of satellite communications to a moving platform. Robert holds an MBA from London Business School, a M.S. in Engineering Management from The George Washington University, and a Bachelors of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
