Executive Director, AT&T Labs

Tom Siracusa is an Executive Director at AT&T Laboratories with over 26 years of experience in data network design and performance analysis at AT&T.  Tom currently works on AT&T's VPN, Mobile and Cloud Services.  His primary focus is on Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and the services that these technologies can help enable.  He focuses on Enterprise Architectures that include MPLS and other VPNs, Cloud Computing, Mobile Integration, IPv6, etc.  Tom spends much of his time with customers, presenting on AT&T’s networking goals and strategy, and in helping customers design their global IP networks.

A highly sought presenter and trainer on strategic and technical networking topics for both internal and external audiences throughout the world, Tom is able to take highly technical concepts and present them in a way to highlight the business benefits.  Tom often presents at AT&T customer events as well as Industry events.

Tom was recently the keynote speaker at the Next Generations Networks conference in Tokyo and at FutureNet in Boston.

For the past 6 years, he’s traveled throughout 5 continents each year meeting with customers and analysts to share AT&T’s global strategy and to gather key input for the service development process.
Tom also serves on the Board of Directors for Logix Resource Group, a network management company based in Atlanta. Prior to his current role, Tom spent 6 years managing a nationwide team of Data Network Analysts (DNAs) that provided design and consulting services for AT&T’s largest customers. He also served as a Data Network Consultant in the Southeastern US and as a lead architect and software developer of AT&T’s proprietary customer data network design tool.

Tom has a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Statistics, both from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
