Below are some important details and deadlines to help you prepare for your presentation leading up to the event.
Presentation Slides Due:
Draft slides - 26 October 2016
Final slides - 1 November 2016
All presentations should be prepared in Microsoft Powerpoint (.pptx) 16:9 format in your company presentation template.
Speaker Registration & Badge Pick-up:
There will be a dedicated “Speaker Registration” desk near the main MEF16 registration area. Speakers may pick up their badge anytime during the event starting on Monday, 7 November at 8:00 am.
MEF16 has a speakers lounge in the Blake Room on the 2nd Floor near the main conference. The lounge will be open daily beginning at 7:30 am. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day. The lounge may be used as a quiet space for speakers to work, have meetings, and meet with moderators and panelists. A MEF16 staff member will be available in the room to assist you.
Technical Requirements & Specifications
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your speaking engagement. Our on-site PSAV team will meet you at the back of each meeting room to test your microphone and provide any other assistance required.
- A confidence monitor and hand-held slide advancer will be available for use.
- If your presentation includes special audio, animations or a video to be played, please notify us prior to your arrival at MEF16.
