Dr. John Strassner is the MEF Orchestration Area Co-Director, and CTO for the Software Labs of Huawei's Americas R&D Group. John has 40 years of experience in various industry positions, including a past VP and Fellow of Motorola and Cisco and the CSO of a startup (IntelliDEN). He is also a tenured professor in computer science. John's interests include autonomic technologies, policy-based management and orchestration, software architecture, information and data modeling, and distributed systems. John has over 330 refereed conference and journal publications, and over 65 granted and filed patents.
