Ralph has developed advanced technology products and services for consumers, businesses, and service providers at Fujitsu, IBM, Nortel, and four technology startups. At Fujitsu, Ralph created and leads the SDN/NFV Solutions Practice where he also serves as Principal Consultant. The practice assesses, designs, integrates, and manages multi-vendor solutions using SDN, NFV and LSO technologies that enable on-demand Virtual Network Services. Ralph is an MEF founding member currently serving on the Board of Directors. Ralph created the MEF’s highly successful Carrier Ethernet Professional Certification Program, co-developed the MEF-CECP exams, and co-authored the industry’s first MEF-CECP exam study guide. He has been a catalyst for the MEF’s Third Network vision and the MEF’s organizational transformation and evolution towards software artifacts, architectures and service definitions addressing Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO), IP services, SDN and NFV. Over the past 10 years, Ralph has lectured and conducted workshops at over 75 events and has published over 30 papers covering use cases, solution architectures and best practices for Lifecycle Service Orchestration, Virtual Network Services, MANO, NFV, SDN, Carrier Ethernet, NaaS, Virtualization, and Cybersecurity.
