Vice President, Cloud Engineering, Oracle

With over 18 years of experience in the telecom industry, Chris has a wealth of knowledge in hardware and software development as well as product management . In his current role, Chris provides global leadership of a multi-product portfolio, and guides its transition to industry leading Cloud and SaaS products. Chris has been with Oracle Communications since August 2013 as part of the acquisition of Tekelec. After Tekelec's merger with Oracle in late 2013, Chris took on roles of increasing responsibility and scope, progressing from Senior Director to his current role as Vice President of Cloud Engineering.

Chris joined Tekelec in January 1998 as an R&D leader and held various positions of increasing responsibility.  He culminated his tenure there as the Assistant Vice President of Engineering, overseeing all aspects of Tekelec’s hardware and software platforms, including a global team of developers.

Chris holds B.S. and M.S degrees in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. Chris lives in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.
